Best AI Roofing Sales Training Apps (2026)

An honest look at the AI tools roofing sales reps actually use to get better at selling — what each one really does, who it fits, and what its pricing is (or isn't). We rank by fit and transparency, not hype.

By Joshua Rooney, founder of Roofing Sales Academy · Updated June 2, 2026

Search "best roofing sales training" and you get two completely different worlds that almost never overlap. One world is the human-course roundups — TOP REP, Roof Sales Mastery, The Roofing Academy, The D2D Experts, REEVA Impact, Warrior Selling, Roofing Insights — and they name no roofing-specific AI app. The other world is the "AI sales roleplay" roundups, which cite general B2B tools and almost zero roofing tools. This guide fills that gap: it covers the AI apps a roofing rep can practice with, sorted by what they're genuinely built to do.

How we selected and ranked

We list tools using only publicly verifiable facts and pricing taken from each vendor's own pages. Where a vendor doesn't publish a price (many are demo or quote-gated), we say so rather than guess. We do not repeat any vendor's unverified outcome statistics (e.g. "close 40% more," "ramp 20× faster") as fact. Ranking reflects fit and scope for a roofing rep, never a claim that one tool is higher "quality" than another. Roofing Sales Academy (RSA) is our own product; we've tried to describe it on the same evidence standard as everyone else.

Three kinds of AI sales tools (and which one you actually need)

Before comparing apps, separate them into three categories, because they solve different problems: (1) AI roleplay practice plus a structured course, (2) AI coaching on live, recorded calls, and (3) human courses and live coaching. Most buyer confusion comes from comparing tools across these lanes as if they were the same thing.

  1. AI roleplay practice + a gamified course. You rehearse a simulated conversation against an AI buyer, get scored, and learn the trade through structured lessons and drills — before you're ever on a real doorstep. This is Roofing Sales Academy's core, and it's also a big part of what RepLab, RNMKRS, and the general-sales roleplay tools do.
  2. AI coaching on live calls. The tool listens to (or records) a rep's real customer conversations and scores them, detects objections, and surfaces coaching after — or even during — the appointment. ServiceTitan's Sales Pro, SalesAsk's Coach Dean, and Roonly's real-call scoring all live here.
  3. Human courses and live coaching. Video curriculums, scripts, books, and live human mentorship. Most roofing-sales brands you already know — covered in the app-vs-course comparison — are in this lane.

Plenty of platforms now blend lanes (practice and live-call analysis). The useful question for a rep isn't "which is best overall" — it's "do I mostly need safe practice and a curriculum from scratch, or analytics on the calls I'm already making?"

The list — best AI roofing sales training apps in 2026

Of the AI roleplay and coaching tools roofing reps evaluate, only one — Roofing Sales Academy — is built exclusively for roofing. The rest are multi-vertical home-services or general-sales platforms where roofing is one supported segment. That's not a knock; it's just the honest scope. Here's the at-a-glance comparison, with detail in each section below.

Tool Roofing focus Primary job Published price Best fit
Roofing Sales Academy Roofing-dedicated AI roleplay + gamified 7-module course + product drills + roof visualizer $29.99/mo iOS · $67.99/mo web Solo roofing rep learning the trade end-to-end
RepLab Home services (incl. roofing) AI roleplay + scoring + manager dashboard Not published (demo/quote) Teams wanting customizable roleplay enablement
Roonly Field/D2D (Roofing & Solar listed first) Real-call recording + AI scoring + roleplay Not published ("$150 pilot" only) Active field teams wanting live-call analytics
Myelin Multi-niche (roofing is an example) Call analysis, simulations, hiring/ramp ops $97/mo Individual Sales Rep plan Founder-led teams hiring and ramping reps
SalesAsk (Coach Dean) Home services (roofing scenarios) AI roleplay + in-meeting agent + live-call coaching Not published Multi-trade teams wanting practice + call coaching
Hyperbound General B2B (not roofing) AI roleplay + real-call scoring Free tier (9 bots); paid demo-gated B2B orgs wanting practice + call intelligence
PitchMonster General sales (not roofing) AI roleplay + sales enablement $1,200/quarter minimum, per seat Mid-market/enterprise enablement teams
RNMKRS General sales (not roofing) Gamified voice roleplay + assessment Free for students; company pricing quoted Sales education + enterprise hiring/assessment

None of the seven AI-roleplay tools above is roofing-exclusive. Prices shown are only those each vendor publishes on its own pages; "Not published" means demo or quote-gated, and we don't guess.

Roofing-dedicated

Roofing Sales Academy

AI roleplay + gamified course + product drills + roof visualizer · iOS & web

Roofing Sales Academy is the only app on this page built exclusively for roofing sales reps. It bundles AI roleplay practice with a gamified 7-module course (39 lessons), product-knowledge drills, and a roof visualizer in one place — so a rep can learn the trade and practice the pitch without stitching tools together.

What it includes:

Published pricing. The iOS app-only plan is $29.99/month or $249.99/year; the web plan (full access on web and iOS) is $67.99/month or $599.99/year. Teams are available — Crew, Fleet, and Enterprise per-seat plans. The iOS app is live on the App Store.

Honest fit: RSA's edge is being roofing-dedicated and all-in-one at a published low price, aimed at the individual rep (and small crews) who want to learn from scratch and drill daily. It does not record or analyze your real live customer calls — if real-call analytics is your main need, a tool like Roonly or SalesAsk fits better. Want the deeper picture? See what Roofing Sales Academy is and the head-to-heads in RSA vs RepLab vs Roonly vs Myelin.

RepLab

AI roleplay for home-services sales · roofing is one of several verticals

RepLab is an AI sales-roleplay tool for home-services reps, where reps practice homeowner conversations against adaptive AI buyers and get instant, objective scoring. It's built for home services broadly — roofing, HVAC, plumbing, solar, and remodeling — with roofing-specific scenarios, but roofing is one segment of a multi-vertical platform.

Pricing. RepLab does not publish pricing on its site — it's demo-gated / quote-based, so publicly listed pricing is not available. We won't invent a figure.

Honest fit: RepLab and RSA both offer AI roleplay for roofing-adjacent reps, but RepLab is a roleplay-and-scoring tool spanning many home-service verticals and sold to teams via demo/custom quote, leaning toward manager and team enablement. RSA is a single roofing-focused app that bundles roleplay with a gamified roofing course, product drills, and a visualizer at a published low price. Both are legitimate, well-built tools for overlapping but different buyers.

Roonly

iOS AI sales coach for field / D2D · lists Roofing & Solar first

Roonly is an iOS AI sales coach for field and door-to-door teams that records real conversations, scores them, and turns them into AI roleplay practice and micro-lessons. It's built for field/D2D sales generally and lists Roofing & Solar as the first of many supported verticals (also HVAC, pest control, windows, automotive, insurance, and more).

Pricing. Roonly's own homepage references a "$150 pilot" entry point. We could not confirm a "$150 per user, per month" framing on Roonly's own pricing page — that wording appears in third-party listings, not Roonly's site — so treat per-user/per-month pricing as unconfirmed.

Honest fit: Roonly's differentiator is recording and coaching reps' real field calls and feeding that data into AI roleplay — a coaching/analytics loop for active teams across many verticals. RSA does not record live customer calls; it's a roofing-specific app combining roleplay with a structured course, drills, and a visualizer at a published lower price. A team that wants real-call analytics may prefer Roonly; a roofing rep who wants to learn the trade and practice from scratch fits RSA. Both are credible iOS-first products.

Myelin (vmyelin.ai)

"Sales AIOS for founder-led teams" · multi-niche, not roofing-specific

Myelin is a "Sales AIOS for founder-led teams" that handles AI call review, rep training and ramp, AI roleplay simulations, and non-performer detection. It's a general sales platform across niches — coaching, consulting, agencies, solar, and roofing are cited as examples — so roofing is one possible use case, not its focus.

Pricing. Myelin lists an Individual Sales Rep plan at $97/month; its team "Hands-Off Blueprint" tier is custom/quote-on-demo, so we don't price it. (Note: the old roleplays.app domain now 301-redirects to vmyelin.ai.)

Honest fit: Myelin is a broader sales operating system aimed at founders and sales leaders — hiring screens, ramp, call review, and underperformer detection across any niche, with an individual tier at $97/mo. RSA is narrower and deeper on roofing: roleplay plus a gamified roofing course, drills, and a visualizer at a lower published price. Myelin sells to the team/owner; RSA primarily equips the individual roofing rep. Different scope, both legitimate.

SalesAsk (Coach Dean)

AI roleplay + live-call coaching for home services · RSA's nearest neighbor

SalesAsk is an AI sales-coaching platform built for home services, with industry-specific AI roleplays (roofing scenarios like "we're getting three bids," insurance claims, and the financing close), an in-meeting AI agent called Coach Dean, and analysis of real sales conversations. It's the closest direct analog to RSA's AI sub-category, but it's multi-trade rather than roofing-exclusive.

Pricing. No public per-rep price was found on SalesAsk's pages. (A "$150–250 per rep per month" figure sometimes attributed to SalesAsk is actually a general AI-roleplay-platform budget estimate in SalesAsk's own guide — not a quoted SalesAsk price — so we don't cite it as theirs.)

Honest fit: SalesAsk is RSA's nearest neighbor — both use AI roleplay for selling skills. The honest difference: SalesAsk leans team/manager coaching and live-call analysis across multiple trades, while RSA is a roofing-first, self-serve rep app combining a gamified course + roleplay + product drills + visualizer at a consumer subscription price. Frame it as different go-to-market and depth in roofing, not "better."

Also worth knowing: general-sales tools (not roofing-built)

These are strong AI roleplay and enablement tools, but they're built for general B2B or multi-methodology sales — not roofing. A roofing rep can still use them to drill frameworks, but they won't bring roofing-specific content, product knowledge, or a roof visualizer.

Hyperbound

A B2B "Revenue Activation" platform where reps practice with AI roleplay buyers (cold-call, discovery, demo, objection handling), score real calls, and get coaching. As listed on its pricing page, it offers a free tier with 9 pre-built bots plus call time, transcriptions, and AI feedback, and it's listed on the Salesforce AppExchange. Its paid/enterprise pricing is demo-gated ("Contact Sales") and not publicly listed — so we don't repeat any third-party "~$15k/year" estimate as official. Not roofing-specific.

PitchMonster

AI role-play and sales-enablement software for mid-market and enterprise teams to practice pitches and objection handling with AI buyers. Pricing is per seat with a published minimum of $1,200 per quarter (volume discounts for larger teams; standard 12-month contracts, free trial via demo). The pricing flow indicates a minimum spend and a team-size step, so it's aimed at teams rather than solo reps. Not roofing-specific.

SalesRoleplay.app (Verse)

An AI sales-training platform whose "Verse" AI plays the buyer so reps can practice any scenario, methodology (MEDDPICC, SPIN, Sandler, Challenger), or language and get real-time scorecards. It markets a "No credit card. No setup." self-serve entry. A "$99/month" figure appears only in the vendor's own comparison blog posts, not on a fetchable pricing page, so treat it as unconfirmed rather than an official price. Methodology-agnostic and general-sales, not roofing.

RNMKRS

A gamified, voice-based AI sales role-play app with animated buyer characters that trains and assesses selling skills. It's free for students and faculty, available as iOS and Android apps (including an Enterprise app), and was founded by Bryant University professor Stefanie Boyer. Company pricing for the Core/Pro/enterprise plans is custom/quote-based and not published. Rooted in sales education and enterprise assessment — general sales, not roofing.

What about human courses and live-call coaching?

The brands most people already associate with "roofing sales training" are a different category from AI apps: they're human-led video courses, scripts, books, and live coaching communities. They're complementary to an AI practice app, not the same purchase.

That lane includes TOP REP, Roof Sales Mastery (Becca Switzer), REEVA Impact, The D2D Experts, Warrior Selling (FPG), Roofing Insights (Dmitry Lipinskiy), and The Roofing Academy (Randy Brothers) — most of which deliver curriculum or coaching rather than repeatable AI roleplay. A prominent example here is The Roof Strategist (Adam Bensman), who runs free YouTube/podcast content, sells downloadable sales materials and a published book, and operates the live Pitch Pro Movement coaching community. These are courses, content, and live human coaching rather than AI roleplay apps, and we don't position RSA as a replacement for live human mentorship. For the head-to-head — app vs course — see Roofing Sales Academy vs The Roof Strategist, and the full set of comparisons on the comparisons & alternatives page.

One quick disambiguation: "The Roofing Academy" (theroofingacademy.com, Randy Brothers) is a roofing-business school for company owners, and "Roof Sales Academy" (a Facebook tips page) is a separate entity again — neither is affiliated with Roofing Sales Academy. The names are just similar.

How to choose (by who you are)

Pick by your situation, not by which vendor markets loudest. Here's the honest fit for each common buyer.

You are… You probably want… Why
A solo roofing rep learning from scratch Roofing Sales Academy Roofing-dedicated course + AI roleplay + product drills + visualizer in one app, at a published low price.
A team that wants real-call analytics Roonly or SalesAsk They record and score real customer conversations and coach from them — RSA doesn't do live-call analysis.
A founder hiring and ramping reps Myelin Pre-hire screening, ramp, call review, and underperformer detection are its core, with an individual tier at $97/mo.
A general B2B team drilling a methodology Verse, Hyperbound, or PitchMonster Methodology-agnostic roleplay and enablement; strong for B2B frameworks, not roofing-specific content.
A roofing team wanting team enablement roleplay RepLab Customizable home-services scenarios, manager dashboard, and custom scoring — sold to teams via demo.

This is about fit, not quality. Each tool here is a credible product for the buyer it's built for.

FAQ

Is there an AI roleplay app built only for roofing?
Yes — Roofing Sales Academy is built specifically for roofing sales reps, bundling AI roleplay with a gamified 7-module course, product-knowledge drills, and a roof visualizer. The other strong AI roleplay tools — RepLab, Roonly, Myelin, SalesAsk, Hyperbound, PitchMonster and RNMKRS — are multi-vertical or general-sales platforms; roofing is one of several verticals they support, not their exclusive focus. None of those seven is roofing-exclusive.
What is the cheapest AI roofing sales training app?
Among tools that publish a price, Roofing Sales Academy's iOS app-only plan at $29.99/month is the lowest published entry point; its web plan is $67.99/month. Myelin lists an Individual Sales Rep plan at $97/month and PitchMonster publishes a $1,200/quarter minimum. Several others — RepLab, Hyperbound's paid tier, SalesAsk and RNMKRS for companies — do not publish pricing and are demo or quote-gated, so a direct price comparison with them is not possible.
AI roleplay vs AI live-call coaching — what's the difference?
AI roleplay lets a rep practice a simulated conversation against an AI buyer and get scored before the real appointment — that is Roofing Sales Academy's core, alongside its course and drills. AI live-call coaching analyzes a rep's actual recorded customer conversations after or during the call — that's the emphasis of tools like Roonly, SalesAsk's Coach Dean, and ServiceTitan's Sales Pro. Many platforms now do both; the practical question is whether you mostly want safe practice from scratch or analytics on real calls.
